Terms of Service

Effective from

1. Scope and acceptance of terms

  • The Terms are an agreement between the provider and the user on the use of the Transcora Chrome extension and the Transcora website, together referred to as the service.
  • The user reads the terms before signing in. Signing in, using the service or paying for an order constitutes acceptance of these terms and the Privacy Policy.
  • The service is intended for users in Vietnam; prices and payments are in Vietnamese dong.

2. Service provider

  • Provider: Tăng Ái Quốc, an individual operating the service in Vietnam.

3. Account

  • An account is created when the user signs in with a Google account.
  • Each account can be used on up to 10 browsers with the extension installed.
  • The user is responsible for the security of the Google account and signed-in devices, and for revoking devices that are no longer in use.
  • An account is for a single user; accounts may not be shared or transferred.

4. Plans and quotas

The service offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. Current quota of each plan:

  • Meeting uses and AI summary uses are counted per the plan's quota period and reset when a new period starts. Deleting a meeting does not restore used quota.
  • AI summaries are also subject to the system-wide daily processing limit. When the shared limit is exhausted, summarization is suspended until the limit resets, even if the user still has quota remaining.
  • Meeting transcripts are kept until the user deletes them, regardless of the plan in use.

5. Pricing, ordering and payment

  • The Pro plan is sold as a prepaid plan by period; the price includes all amounts payable.
  • The user selects a plan and period on the Pricing page; the system creates an order and a VietQR code specific to that order. The code includes the amount and a transfer note containing the order code.
  • The user transfers money to the provider's receiving bank account. Transactions are reconciled automatically through SePay. Transfer fees, if any, are set by the sender's bank.
  • The order keeps the price at the time of creation. An unpaid order expires 15 minutes after it is created.
  • The plan is activated when the system receives a transaction that matches the order code and covers the full amount, including when the money arrives after the order has expired. The order result and receipt are shown on the website.

6. Plan term and renewal

  • Paid plans do not renew automatically and no automatic charges are made.
  • The website sends renewal reminders from 7 days before the expiry date. If more periods are purchased while the plan is still valid, the new validity is added after the current expiry date.
  • When the period ends, the account returns to the Free plan and the Free plan quota applies. Existing transcripts and summaries are kept.

7. No refunds

  • The user can try the features on the Free Plan before buying; the Pro Plan has no trial period.
  • Payments for an order that has activated a plan are non-refundable, even if the user stops using the service, deletes data or requests account deletion before the end of the period.
  • If the provider permanently discontinues the service before the end of a paid period, the provider will contact the user by email to agree on how to handle the unused portion of the period.

8. Misdirected or mismatched payments

  • Transactions with an underpaid amount, an overpaid amount, a duplicate transfer or no order code are not activated automatically; the related order changes to Awaiting confirmation.
  • The user emails tang.ai.quoc123@gmail.com with the order code, amount and transfer time. The provider reconciles the transaction and agrees on a resolution with the user by email: activating the plan, assigning the payment to the correct order, or refunding a payment not tied to an activated order.

9. Recording meetings and participant consent

  • The user who turns on recording is responsible for informing other participants that the meeting is being transcribed and for obtaining their consent as required by applicable law. The notice the extension posts to the chat does not replace this responsibility.
  • The user does not record a meeting when participants object or when the policy of the organization hosting the meeting does not allow it.
  • The user is responsible for the content of transcripts and summaries and for how they are used and shared.

10. AI features

  • AI features run on the infrastructure of the hosting provider listed in section 7 (Data recipients and processors) of the Privacy Policy; data is not used to train models.
  • AI summaries are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate; users should check them against the transcript before use. A summary is not professional advice.

11. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe the rights of others.
  • Do not interfere with, scan, exploit vulnerabilities in or overload the system, or access other users' data.
  • Do not resell the service or provide it to third parties without an agreement.

12. Rights and responsibilities of the provider

  • Provide the service according to the plan and term the user has paid for.
  • Process personal data under the Privacy Policy.
  • Receive and respond to support requests and complaints through the contact email.
  • The service may be suspended for maintenance or due to incidents in the infrastructure and third-party services.
  • The provider may suspend or terminate an account that violates section 9 or section 11, and will notify the user of the reason by email.

13. Limitation of liability

  • Transcript content comes from the captions and chat of Google Meet; the completeness and accuracy of a transcript depend on Meet captions. Changes to Google Meet may temporarily prevent the extension from recording.
  • The service is provided as is. The provider does not guarantee that the service will operate continuously, be error-free or be suitable for every purpose of the user.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data caused by user deletion; total liability for compensation shall not exceed the amount the user paid for the plan period in effect at the time the damage arose.
  • The limitation above does not apply where consumer protection law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to the terms

  • When the terms change, the content of this page and the effective date at the top of the page are updated; changes that affect user rights are announced on the website before they apply.
  • Price changes do not apply to orders already created or to plan periods already paid.
  • Users who disagree with a change may stop using the service.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

The Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes are resolved first by negotiation through the contact email; if negotiation fails, either party may bring the dispute to a competent authority in Vietnam in accordance with the law.
